Born and based in the Scottish Highlands, Dan’s creative journey is deeply connected to the landscapes, stories, and cultures that have surrounded and inspired him throughout his life. His practice brings together painting, drawing, museum curation, and interpretative design, reflecting a passion for exploring the relationship between art, place, history, and human experience.

Dan’s artistic path has taken him across Scotland and Asia, where different landscapes, traditions, and perspectives have continued to shape and influence his work. Working across figurative, landscape, and abstract genres, his art moves between moments of bold expression and quiet contemplation.
